Hourly wage (~$16–$17/hr, near CA minimum wage). Housing option available at some centers. Free wildfire certifications (ICS, NWCG S-series) = ~$500–$1,500 private value.

CCC year-round fire crews earn ICS-100/700, S-110/130/190, L-180 certifications free. CCC may help obtain EMT cert (limited; EMT may not be fully covered). Members receive hourly wages plus housing option.
