2026-2027 full Internship Year: tuition $27,650 PLUS housing $11,000 = $38,650 total. Single semester (Fall 2026 or Spring 2027): tuition $13,750 plus housing $6,500 = $20,250. NOTE the two-line pricing - the $27,650 headline is NOT the real number; housing is mandatory and adds $11,000. ADDITIONAL COSTS on top: a $400 refundable apartment damage deposit explicitly not included in the fees; optional stipend plan $25/semester; optional college courses through Clark University at $1,750 each or University of Montana at $1,950/semester. Meals are NOT included - students shop and cook for themselves, so budget realistically $2,500-$4,000/year for food. No airfare needed for most US students, which materially improves the comparison against overseas programs. All-in realistic cost for the full year is roughly $41,000-$43,000. Need-based aid distributed FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED via the School and Student Service (SSS) for Financial Aid form - apply as early as possible, since late applicants can be shut out of a depleted pool regardless of need. 529 Savings Plans can be applied toward tuition when the student is enrolled in University of Montana courses, which is a meaningful tax advantage worth structuring for.
