Tuition: $17,870 (Sep 13–Nov 26, 2026 session). Equipment deposit: $500 (refundable). International flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) NOT included (~$1,200–$2,000). Travel insurance recommended (~$200–$400). All-in estimate: $19,770–$20,770. NOTE: NOLS tuition does not include meals beyond field rations already factored into tuition.

NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) flagship international semester: 75 days in Tanzania (Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro, Maasai communities, wildlife). Wilderness skills, leadership, and Leave No Trace training. 16 college credits available. Ages 18+.
