PRICED PER DAY, which makes headline comparison misleading - the cents figures above are the DAILY rate, not a program total. Published from-rates: Sri Lanka from $24/day, Ghana from $26/day, Peru from $27/day. A four-week placement in Ghana is therefore roughly $728; twelve weeks roughly $2,184. Daily fee includes accommodation, meals, airport pickup, in-country orientation, pre-departure support and 24-hour hosted support. EXCLUDED: international flights (budget $900-$1,600 depending on destination); TRAVEL INSURANCE, which PMGY makes MANDATORY and sells through a partner insurer (budget $60-$250 depending on duration); visa fees; vaccinations; and personal spending. A REGISTRATION FEE is charged to secure a place, with the balance of the program fee due 60 days before start - the registration fee amount is not published on the homepage and must be confirmed before applying. A 12-week Ghana placement at roughly $2,184 is realistically $3,400-$4,200 all-in. No scholarship program. Fundraising guidance is provided instead. The low daily rate is the affordability mechanism.
