Published 2026 gap semester tuition: Thailand 40 days $13,000; Spanish Immersion & Service (Costa Rica/Peru/Dominican Republic) 78 days $17,645; South Pacific Service & Ocean Skills (Fiji) 77 days $20,990. ALL are quoted 'plus airfare' - flights are NOT included. Rustic additionally charges a flight-handling fee: $450 plus airfare for chaperoned flights, $150 plus airfare for Rustic-arranged flights, or $0 if you book entirely on your own. So the Fiji program at $20,990 plus roughly $1,500-$2,000 in Pacific airfare plus a $450 chaperone fee is realistically $22,900-$23,400. Comprehensive insurance, all meals, housing and in-country transport ARE included. Deposit amount not published on the program page. Rustic Pathways operates a foundation offering need-based scholarships, but award sizes for gap semesters are not published. Assume close to full pay unless you obtain a written offer.
